Events social media case study
A new research study was released in late 2014 by Tourism Research Australia titled ‘Events: Drivers of Regional Tourism’. This study highlighted, nearly 80% of people that attended a regional event used social media. Furthermore 30% used social media to engage with the event before, during and after.
Our work in regional events supports these findings and we utilise social media pre, during and post events to communicate, engage and build relationships with attendees or potential attendees.
Please see below infographic showing social media results from Sample Food Festival, a regional event held in Byron Shire, NSW, Australia.
